SSV PREVIEW:  FAMILY FEUD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH

Another match up getting a huge amount of interest at SOUL SURVIVOR V is the "family feud" MWF Tag Team Title Match when the champions Beau Douglas & Jackson Blue (with Bull Montana) defend the gold against The Uprising, namely J-Busta and their newest recruit WWE Hall of Famer "Cowboy" Bob Orton.  When John Cena Sr. learned that The Uprising was bringing Orton back to the MWF, he named himself the Billion Dollar Guest Referee in what's shaping up to be a wild one.

Beau Douglas and Busta have had issues for over three years now.  In 2005, the Canadian Superstars were in hot pursuit of MWF Tag Team Champions Douglas and Todd Hanson.  At the same time, slimey newcomer Johnny Fabulous (now John Cena Sr) was trying to sign Douglas and Hanson on for his managerial services.  After Commissioner Von Johnson signed the champions to defend the gold against in a fatal four way, Cena Sr. convinced the champs to let him manage them on a trail basis.  They escaped the four way as champions but were immediately challenged by the Canadians on the spot.  Before they could respond, Cena, as their representation, answered "yes" and the match was on, minutes after defeating three other teams.  During the battle, Cena snuck into the ring and hammered Hanson with his loaded briefcase allowing the Candians to steal the MWF Tag Team Titles.  It was later revealed that in the contract that Cena signed with Douglas and Hanson prevented them from getting a rematch against whoever defeated them for the titles.  In other words, screwed.

Unable to challenge for the tag titles, Douglas and Hanson signed for singles action.  Hanson picking up a big win over current WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston.  Beau Douglas had old friend Bull Montana return to the managerial ranks and led him to quick success.  However, while celebrating with the fans, the Canadians and Cena jumped the duo from behind, KO'ing Montana and holding Douglas down while Cena cut his hair and threw it out into the crowd.  Luckily, Al Snow was in the building and broke up the situation while the three sleazebags ran like cowards.

Things began to fall apart in the summer of 2007.  Cena was suspended after he and the Canadians attacked yours truly while conducting an interview mid-ring, forcing him to miss SOUL SURVIVOR IV.  In a twist of fate, MWF original Road Dogg BG James returned after a long absence and scandal to team with Douglas to defeat the Cena-less champions in Douglas' hometown of Somerville.  While suspended, Cena shocked the world when he announced he had bought a portion of Neil Manolian's company stock to become a minority owner in the company.  That allowed J-Busta access to several blank contracts he post dated, basically that could be used at his discretion at any time.  Upon Cena's return, the latest members of his growing camp - MWF Television Champion "Million Dollar Investment" Tommaso Ciampa and Jimmy Jact Ca$h - brutally attacked and hospitalized Cena, declaring their independence and along with the Canadians and Jason 'Rumble', forming The Uprising.  Later that night, Ciampa and Ca$h helped the Canadians screw over Douglas and Road Dogg to again capture the MWF Tag Team Titles.

Once recovered, the MWF Board of Directors named John Cena Sr. the new president, replacing the Jackal, who was eager to go back to the broadcast booth.  His first course of action was to sign a match between the Canadians and Douglas and Al Snow.  The Canadians defied Cena and no-showed the event.  At NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS, Cena allowed Douglas to pick the partner of his choice to take on the Canadians, or any two members of The Uprising if they were to play more of their games.  That night, Busta announced that he fired his partner Dave Cole and would have Jason 'Rumble' as his partner.  Beau shocked Somerville by bringing out KISS 108FM's Jackson Blue, who in his wrestling debut captured the MWF Tag Team Titles thanks to a little help from "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal!

Busta has demanded a rematch ever since and caused a lot of worry at MWF headquarters when announcing he was bringing "Cowboy" Bob Orton back to the Federation.  Orton competed at SOUL SURVIVOR II, teaming with Douglas and Hanson with a victory over Ox Baker's Army.  Having trained with Douglas, Orton brings a unique perspective into the match.  Douglas having a non-wrestler as his partner also puts him at a disadvantage.  Will having President Cena as guest referee help even the odds for him?  The Cena-Orton family vendetta has been growing for well over a year now.  While John Cena and Randy Orton were at war over the WWE Championship on Monday Night Raw, Cena Sr. got brutally attacked by Orton when he kicked him in the face at the FleetCenter and caused a concussion.  Cena Sr. got revenge at WWE Unforgiven last September when he unleashed a vicious kick to the face of his own on Orton when John had him in the STFU.  The following night on Raw, Jonathan Coachman signed a match where Cena Sr. faced orton with John handcuffed to the bottom rope, forced to watch Randy kick the stuffing out of his father.  Cena soon sustained an injury that kept him out of action for the better part of four months, but that did little to put out the fire between the two families.  Bob Orton has made it well known that he's willing to kick Cena Sr.'s head off on November 15th if push comes to shove.  This one will be interesting, to say the least. . .
