MWF X: CHAMPIONSHIP CO-MAIN EVENT TEN YEARS IN THE MAKING

A rematch ten years in the making is one half of the double main event at MWF X, our 10th Anniversary Bash, Saturday, September 17th at Memorial Hall in Melrose, MA. "Slyck" Wagner Brown of JBL's Uprising defends the Millennium Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Championship against current (and longest reigning) MWF TV Champion "Straight Edge" Brian Fury! What makes this match unique is that Slyck and Fury wrestled each other in the first match in company history at THE BIG BANG September 28th, 2001 in Revere, MA. At MWF X, they compete against each other once again in the championship main event, with both athletes holding gold.
Fury's battles with JBL's Uprising have been well documented since he returned in 2008. At SOUL SURVIVOR VII this past March, he defeated Sonny Yee 2000. On the July MWF Cyberstarz, he put the final nail in his epic feud with "Million Dollar Investment" Tommaso Ciampa in a brutal Last Man Standing Match.
Slyck has showed great poise this year, going face to face with Shelton Benjamin at the Boston Garden during the SOUL SURVIVOR VII press conference. While he lost the MWF Heavyweight Championship to Benjamin in March, he quickly regained it in his contractual rematch on the June Cyberstarz program. As the first two-time MWF Heavyweight Champ, SWB's looking to hold onto the gold for years to come.
